A MOMENT WITH THE GREAT ONE

Composer Burt Bacharach, who has penned more hits than any other songwriter, took time out backstage to visit with National Record Promotions chief Larry Weir after a recent "sellout" concert in Las Vegas. Weir who is also editor/publisher for NMW reports that Burt continues to write with English songwriter and recording artist Elvis Costello. Bacharach also notes that, "I now have a younger generation of fans due to my appearances in those Austin Powers movies".
